Individual Advocacy Program

Mental Health Minnesota's Individual Advocacy Program empowers individuals with mental illnesses to develop self advocacy skills to overcome barriers. People with mental illnesses, their families and friends, and any interested individuals can contact Mental Health Minnesota when they need guidance in searching for resources that meet their needs. We provide the information and tools needed to access community resources, maintain civil rights, and/or manage the illness.
