MHAM aims to provide important information about not just mental health, but overall health as well. We have two projects that we're pleased to share with you. Click on the link to learn more about these helpful materials.

The Take Charge booklet is our newest offering. This booklet will help you make important changes to your lifestyle to improve overall health.

The Steps to Wellness self-care and advocacy kit offers tools and resources to prevent or better manage a crisis, improve self-advocacy skills to get the care you need, ways to track your medication, tips on journaling, and a daily wellness worksheet.

In addition to the Steps to Wellness kits and Take Charge booklet, you may want to learn more about Minnesota 10 x 10, a program to increase the life expectancy of individuals lving with severe mental illnesses by 10 years in the next 10 years. This program outlines health screenings that should be done a regular basis to maintain overall health. Click here to learn more.
